Emergency Services
Grand Lake Fire Department is a group of people that have only one goal: to help other people. Sometimes we have the opportunity to save a life, which is it's own reward.
We are dedicated to provide the best service possible to the community. Our trainings help us prepare for different emergency situations. Some of the trainings and classes we take are open to members of other agencies, and some are open to the public.
If you are interested in becoming a member and giving something back to the community, this is the place to be. Members have to be at least 18 years old, but we require no previous experience in the emergency field.
The types of calls we respond to are listed below:
Structure Fires, Motor Vehicle Fires, Wildland Fires, Emergency Medical Calls, Technical Rope Rescue, Water Rescue, Ice Rescue, Gas Odor Investigation, Fire Alarms, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Structural Collapse, Mutual Aid, Hazardous Materials Spills
